Blood, Angel, Fae is a gothic fantasy novel I have been writing on the side. What follows are various drawings of characters within the story as I've been developing them, as well as explorations of style for potential in-novel illustrations and book covers.

Tithe & Maru are designed to be opposites of each other. While Tithe has a hardness to his appearance, it is softened by a warmth in his face and tousled hair. Maru, on the other hand, is small and soft, but there is a wildness to his hair and bright red eye. Together they compliment and contrast each other. Scrapped designs are visible in the second row.
